Aileen Foulkes

Aileen has more than 30 years of experience in the energy industry, primarily working with major operators.

She specialises in all aspects of the commercial management of operated and non-operated upstream and midstream assets, including joint venture management, gas sales, oil and gas allocation, transportation and processing, and infrastructure marketing.

Aileen spent the early years of her career as a process engineer with Exxon before moving into more commercially-focused roles, initially at Elf Exploration, where she was involved in the Elgin/Franklin development, and Mobil North Sea, before joining bp several years later as a senior negotiator with responsibility for the commercial operation of CATS and for supporting other assets on gas sales, transportation and allocation matters.

She went on to join BG Group, initially as commercial manager, before progressing to the role of principal commercial manager, responsible for the commercial management of BG’s North Sea assets.

Aileen is a graduate of the University of Strathclyde and has a degree in Applied Chemistry.
