Celebrating the people involved in the CATS 2024 turnaround

Our CATS terminal on Teesside transports and processes around a quarter of natural gas from the Central North Sea, and plays a crucial role in maintaining the UK’s energy security.
In June this year, over a 21-day period, the CATS team successfully completed the site’s 8-yearly full system turnaround (or TAR) involving significant maintenance and upgrades to ensure the system continues to operate safely, efficiently and responsibly.
