First gas achieved from Tolmount East, part of the Humber Gathering System (HGS)

Tolmount East, the first tieback to the Humber Gathering System (HGS), has safely and successfully achieved first gas.

This is an important milestone for HGS and testament to the work delivered by operating partner ODE Asset Management, part of DORIS Group, and Harbour Energy, which included multiple walk to work and subsea construction campaigns, and engineering and construction for topsides modifications.

HGS, comprising the Tolmount platform and HGS pipeline, commenced operation in 2022 and transports natural gas from the Southern North Sea to the Easington terminal in East Yorkshire. It is part of our portfolio of energy infrastructure assets playing a critical role in UK energy security.
